People told me ‘Sky blue pink' does not exist. They said its an expression that means an imaginary color. But I could always see ‘sky blue pink'. Here is one of my renditions of the mood of that color.
I always loved the paintings of flower fairies I saw as a child . I wanted to do my own versions, and this is one of them. I enjoy it when things are interwoven so one thing becomes part of another and you have to look closely to see where one thing ends and the other begins…So I framed the portal with flowers and the fairies who are their elementals, representing the flowers in female form. I painted the flowers on the model's body, face and hands to further connect them.
There are palaces made out of flowers within this magical world, and a waterfall takes place of honor for flowers depend on water as well as light.
