Taking a photo of a bronze statue in the classic form of the Tibetan Tantric Yab Yum, I blended it with a shoot I did of a couple in this timeless embrace. The bodies are gilded to become ‘living statues'. The yab yum represents the union of male and female principles as the union of opposites - a glyph of higher consciousness and spiritual integration, insight and compassion.
They appear as a gift of ambrosia from the golden nipple of the Cosmic Goddess.
