One of the series of Dakinis, Kundakini is depicted in a snake temple, bathed in gold.
The Naginis (serpent people) on the columns are taken from an ancient temple. The Cambodian model is adorned with the ornaments of a Dakini and holds up a snake. I gilded her so that she became a living sculpture, as if just descended from a temple wall.
Once upon a time serpents were worshipped as beings of golden light.
