These photos were shot at Harbin Hot Springs, Northern California when we did another mermaid video shoot. I used a star filter to emphasise the amazing play of light on the water. The model's blue body make up and net skirt was the exact color of the water. I treated the images of this triptych with a gentle etching effect. The pearls and shells were put directly on the scanner.
