1964 A Summer’s Afternoon
At Grammer School we were given the subject of ‘A Summer’s Afternoon’ to paint. I took perverse pleasure in creating this piece – a symbolic portrayal of my experience of going to school. Ironically the Headmistress liked it very much and hung it in her office.
